In a lot of cases tables are exposed to an application through stored procedures.
You call stored procedures to select, update, insert and delete from a table. Having
to create all these procedures from scratch could become quite tedious. QweryBuilder
tries to expedite this process by giving you a shortcut to create stored procedures
from tables.
In the Object Browser, right click on the table you want to create a
procedure for. Select the Create Procedure menu option. From there, pick the type of
procedure you want to create.
What you end up with is something similar to what's seen in the image below.
All you need to do is tweak the SQL statement to work exactly the way you want.
Most of the heavy lifting has already been done.
